I have an old '94 Mercury Grand Marquis that has terribly clouded headlight lense covers that are also very yellowed. I very much doubt that there is any protective coating left on them. 😁. Would your process work on my old lense covers? The headlights are VERY dim due to the covers! I really can't afford to make them any worse. I have looked for new covers and have not found any available (even from junkyards!). I wish I could attach a pic, but I don't know how. Looking forward to you advice this. Thanks in advance!

You do a great job of explaining each & every detail. Can you explain how to replace light bulbs in headlights of a 1987 Volvo 850 station wagon. I know it's very old but there isn't any way I'll be buying a new car soon. I have decided to detail this Volvo as much as I can. Thanks for your excellent attention to detail.

Can you tell me how to remove hydraulic cement from the water main coming into my house? I had my water main replaced a few years ago and found it to be leaking after they did that. The plumber just added a mound of hydraulic cement around the water main where it comes into the house but that still leaks. It seems that hydraulic cement works best on the outside of the house to keep water out, not the inside of the house. I need to remove this mound of hydraulic cement and replace with a polyurethane sealant that goes between the water line and sheath. My problem is the hydraulic cement is very hard and i don't want to damage the water line while removing it. I'm guessing drill spoke lines into the cement mound then chisel them out vertically or something but I'm not sure. Any ideas would be appreciated.

GUYS be careful with acetone on car paint, it may damage it. So do tape it off or wipe it off paint FAST.

That depends on what the rest of the lens looks like, if it is not degraded by UV rays then you might be able to use the acetone to blend the damaged surface with the rest of the lens.
