Sorry to hear about your Etsy experience! I sell on eBay from time to time. the anxiety until the plant gets there is unlike any I’ve had to deal with & im no stranger to online sales. Plants are so fragile & buyers’ expectations can be unrealistic 🥺

Definitely the jade. I have a 2 leaf plant and it’s so slow to grow. What a great price for that one. I want a nice big one so badly but they are impossible to find here. I was lucky to get a one leaf cutting. Hopefully they will be more available one day

I hope so too. In my experience, scindapsus are slow growing at first, but consistent once happy! Argyreus that I bought as unrooted cuttings, is still petite but much fuller now (2 years later). My exotica that I bought as a full, 6 inch pot is trailing out of an 8 inch terracotta - in the same amount of time. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe they just prefer to not be alone? Like some of us humans 😜

I have had good experiences with ordering plants from Etsy shops and want to always post what was good about the shop. Don’t let mean people discourage you. Don’t stop doing what you love because a few people can’t track their package or order a heat pack you know?! It’s all love but screw those people! I sell on Etsy and Mercari too and I would love to eventually sell off my own website cause it just cuts out the middle man. Mercari takes 10%! It’s insane.

I guess I don’t know if I truly love doing it! 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s harder to mentally balance the negative Nancys when I’m not personally connecting with the positive customers. Online sales are not super rewarding for me, I suppose. Thanks for sharing and watching! 😊

Yes begonia updates! I always take a few negative reviews with a massive dose of skepticism because of the entitled whiny delusional humans out there. I’m actually suspicious of no negative reviews
