Hoyland Common - A Salvation Army Corps

In 2007 Hoyland Common re-opened with a brand new church and community centre, near Barnsley. In this film we get to know the indomitable Barbara Sabin who was awarded the Bristish Empire Medal in the New Years Honours list 2013.

Praise the Lord. I was born in Sheffield and grew up in Hoyland. I was saved on the streets of London in 1974. Wonderful to see the Lord at work in the Hoyland area. I remember going to a birthday party in the old hall in the early sixties. Great to see what the Lord can do when his people yield to His will and plan for their life. Awesome!

What a blessing. God answers prayers. I wonder how many life's have been transformed through this wonderful ministry. We all need to reach out into the community and involve ourselves with Gods hand.
