Surprised no one mentioned it during the live. But moonlit bamboo forest is based on a book you can find in-game, it holds alot of important lore, specially about seelies and the 3 moon sisters

I believe that the space idol one with venti, lumine, furina and Childe, rizzly and arlecchino might be macross inspired because it is a space mecha anime with heavy idol stuff mixed in and venti’s room at the beginning looks a lot like a bunker from the show and in the context on the show the shield comments make sense along with the hinted world build but this is just speculation.

55:50 brooooo, i am literally in the same position. I, have level 30 characters, have only completed the Mondstadt archon quest, but i unlocked some later quests and a bunch of the map, i did a chenyu vale quest and thought i could back out when the fighting got hard, but i cannot teleport out, its not timed, and it has a barrier around th arena, so i am up against some kind of level 37 geo enemies on the 4th wave!

I absolutely loved this Hoyofair! Like I’m a nerd for these animations, especially the Genshin/John Wick (Ranked Daycare) and Proginetor! The Choreography and stories so freaking good! The one Bamboo one reminded so much of Avatar the last airbender in terms of art! Now, I both agree and disagree with your statement about “not enough variety” at the end. I say, it’s the variety of genre that’s a bit lacking. Proginetor and Ranked Daycare take the cake for sci-fi and cyberpunk. The first one was a fresh idea because it’s gundam… but it was still Sci-fi, still awesome though! My least favorite was actually Shenhe awakening, again sci-fi but in their own spin of telling Shenhe’s background which I thought was cool- but at that point I was like “can we get something less sci-fi now?” Hell the freaking idol group one was lit with the music and the Domain 404 was a neat idea! They were all awesome of course and enjoyed them all! I just want different ideas so it’s not all sci-fi lol

I love how EVERYONE got fooled by the buffering in the Domain 404 animation😂 makes me feel so much better about double checking my connection when that happened! But my god, this felt too short even if it was a full hour because we got so drawn into the stories and plots. But I do agree, the creations featured in this Hoyofair were amazing, but the only one that was vastly different style wise was the one about the Bamboo Forest and the Foxes.
