This is inspired by my own Swords Only playthrough we currently have running on the channel. That account is at a point where we just need to farm domains to further build characters, so with plenty of catalyst-wielding characters on the horizon, it's time to begin this journey as well.
This time around we tested out YOUR wishing rituals to try and get Yanfei, and experimented with different glitches in 2.7... Also spent quite a lot of time underneath a raft.

From what I’ve seen the trick is to leave your character under the raft for HOURS. That way you get launched so high that you can regenerate your stamina while free falling (you should get so high that you can’t see Tyvat below you)

Congrats on the yanfei! I know you said that youre trying to avoid the teapot, but if you build the sets, you do get about 60 primogems out of every character you have--- at least you can get some use out of those non catalyst users i know its not the most exciting content but hey, free primos ive been doing this to farm for xiao and gotten several wishes out of it

A fun little farming trick I learned by accident is that you can farm Chongyun's dish (80 stamina restoration) by repeatedly playing his hangout event's ending where you play with the kids

You need to keep a character under the raft for around 2 hours then you will fly high enough to recover stamina. Oh there is no limit to how high you can fly Edit: p.s it takes around 3 minutes to plunge to the ground at that height

I felt so bad when I realized what glitch you meant because I remember reading that it was patched out😭 Manifesting Sucrose to come home soon thanks to some kind of miracle🙏 You could also try to activate it in coop with someone who has Sucrose, or in the worst case just wait until Heizou , he's supposed to be in the first half of 2.8 and hopefully he won't be as stubborn as Yanfei😅

Java, i think co-op can operate that mechanism, so if someone with a sucrose joined your world i think they can operate it to make the up current

If you don't already know this, you can use the wind current device and place it on the windmill thing to make it start spinning, which should allow you to get to the island without not using a catalyst character! ^^

I remember seeing there was a glitch that used the portable waypoint where if you dropped one on top of an NPC and teleported to it, then it could shoot you super high up. However, this was a little while ago so it could easily be patched now, and the video did it in Inazuma and I don't know if it actually required specifically that Inazuma location. On the other hand, the height achieved was high enough that a Xiao could glide all the way from Inazuma to Stormterror's Lair (since Xiao's skill let his stamina replenish when used mid-glide).

Wait I was gonna suggest this! I accidentally launched myself up with an npc near the main harbor waypoint just yesterday. It wasn't high enough BUT I also didn't use the portable way point (it was just a load speed issue that caused it) so I definitely think it's an option :o

I've been watching a few "this weapon type" only series recently, and I can't remember in which one it was, but I believe it was a bow only account: they had someone with a Venti come into their word and activate the thingy, and it worked... maybe if you did the same thing with someone with a Sucrose it might work? Congrats on getting Yanfei finally. In my honest opinion, if you need to, go a head and use the anemo traveler to progress more. As cheating as it might seem, you were stuck trying to get Yanfei for a couple episodes and while it could be entertaining, it would probably be better for your sanity if you are having issues pulling sucrose

Congratulations on getting Yanfei. I wish you luck with Sucrose, Klee, and Haizu as well. Recently, I tried pulling for 2 more Yanfei constelations, and all I got was a C6 Barbara, a 4 star Claymore weapon, and even Yelan at 30 pity. I can use Yelan in my Ayaka Freeze Team and she is my first Hydro 5 Star, but I just wanted to get Yanfei to C4.

hey java i doubt ur gonna see this but i once experienced a glitch that might help u out- if u go to dragonspine an find some anemograna and then disconnect your game, the anemograna sort of just stays with you. however once u get back in the game make sure to immediately teleport somewhere else otherwise it doesnt work. i played around with this glitch for a while and found that if u teleport anywhere else in dragonspine after logging back into the game that the anemograna disappears. it reduces stamina usage and increases movement speed if im not wrong. By the time you do see this, let's hope it didnt get patched lmao :,)

I don't remember exactly but if you place a portable teleport waypoint on one of the guards in liyue harbor (The round frame like gate that leads to Bubu Pharmacy and the pavilion.)and teleport to it you get launched up super high. Maybe it is fixed as well? Also save up for heizou

This is heavily RNG-based, but once, I shot up so high because of a glitch that I couldn't even see the ground. It took like 3 minutes of free falling to get back down. It was with Zhongli inside Liyue Harbor, and I could gradually see the entirety of the released map.

I've created a list that you might like for future reference if starting any challenges. Only Claymores = OnlySabers or alternatively, OnlySpins (because during charged attack animations claymore characters spin?) Only Bows = OnlyShoots Only Polearms = Only Spears If you were planning on ever doing only one element challenges (though I'm not sure but I just wanted to come up with this list for fun anyways lol) Only Pyro = OnlyScorching Only Electro = OnlySparks Only Hydro = OnlySoaking Only Anemo = OnlySwirls Only Cryo = OnlySnowstorms Only Geo = OnlySlabs
