Picked one up earlier today, I was super hyped. ( Quick note I use the rx7 ) First off, I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong because the entire stand kept pivoting, and I had the locking screw and couldn’t figure out where it went. Upon watching your video I figured out that the locking screw only works with the Rx8, since the Rx7 doesn’t have the hole for it. I was pretty disappointed since you can’t find ANYWHERE that the locking screw doesn't work the Rx7 and earlier models. Honestly considered taking it back, since without tightening it as hard as possible the entire stand will pivot, and even when doing that even in just the day I’ve owned it, I’d still find the stand coming loose and pivoting. On top of that, I just have the factory stubby bottom stabilizer so I can’t use the stand in a way that keeps the kam’s out of the dirt, without buying a bottom stabilizer. So all that considered, it’s pretty hard to justify the $140 price tag for any Rx7 owners. Please give me any tips to stop this stand from coming loose and pivoting.

Man I’m sorry to hear that!!! I totally agree though, it’s frustrating with that design flaw. I guess not a flaw however it forces you into a new bow 😂 Without a locking washer on the backside of the mount I’m not sure how else it will work. If you bought it from us we’d love to exchange for store credit or a refund! Let us know if we can help you! Good luck!

What is the little knob on your cam that rests on the ground when using the go stix? I have the go stix 2.0 but my cam on my rx7 doesn’t have that knob/rest on it like i see in your video in pictures online.

That’s on the new RX8 cam called the “kickstand” which helps keep the cam out of the dirt! Unfortunately they didn’t make the X-act cam on the RX7

Would the tripod position work with a 10 inch stabilizer? I saw they recommend 6-8” how would the 10 inch affect the height off the ground ?
@straight6archery538 ай бұрын
Oh for sure it will work with a 10” stab 🙌🏼 It will just change the pitch if the bow which isn’t a big deal at all

How long of a stabilizer do you need for the second position? i have the RX7 with the factory stubby stabilizer. I have the 1.0 version of the go stix and I love them but hate the cam on the ground. Mathews did a much better job on this but I love my Hoyt bow.

Hey there! Thanks so much for watching! We recommend an 8" off that front platform for optimal use. A 10" will also work, but will also get in the way quite often with the Go-Stix

@@straight6archery53thanks for the reply. Will a 6” not work?
@straight6archery539 ай бұрын
@@RMC2021 the 6” will still work just fine, but won’t have as much cam clearance as the 8” bars will. If you want the most for clearance like the Mathews legs, we reccomend the 8” 🙌🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Does the go stix come with the qd bar mount ?
@straight6archery5311 ай бұрын
Yes it sure does! It can go on a different stabilizer, or you can utilize the small one that comes with the Hoyt's already. We will do a deeper dive this summer!

How much do the go stix weigh?
@straight6archery538 ай бұрын
Just weighed one out of the package and it’s in between 5-6oz with the screws 🙌🏼 Super lightweight, you won’t even feel em

Awesome yea the ones I'm using now weigh 4 oz so 1.5 oz more won't be a big deal appreciate your time with that now I know what I'm getting for my birthday
