I only know the left hand but it's all white notes soo it's pretty easy to improvise. I'm going to praise her undeniable vocal talent. She has an incredible voice, as she's no doubt aware. I don't think that vocal skill alone is enough to fully carry a song like this, though. There wasn't much emotion to her singing, and I think that's likely because Jasmine didn't fully understand the weight of the lyrics. I don't blame her---she was apparently only 16 at the time. If I tried to sing about eternal love and heartbreak as a teenager, it would have sounded contrived because I'd simply never experienced it for myself. This is purely my subjective opinion, speaking as someone who sings and as someone who suffered domestic abuse. I don't believe that someone needs to personally endure what I experienced in order to deliver a moving performance of a song about domestic abuse, but it helps to be able to relate. I'd guess that if she redid this cover today, she'd have the life experience to channel emotion and depth into the song.
