For opening the case, I think I'd twist the screw and then insert a credit card or guitar pick to hold it open, and then slide another one around to pop open the case. LCD monitors open like this, except without the screws.

By the way as far as the cpu upgrade is concerned, you can only really upgrade it to one certain model of the i7 which is not significantly better than this version of the i5 so don’t even bother. The i7 is supported but it’s still not great so not worth upgrading honestly.

@@ItsBinhRepaired I don’t remember exactly. Whatever the generation of i5 it comes with is the same gen as the i7 that it supports. Not worth the upgrade just buy an NvME m.2 to speed it up

@@aldososa4851 it's very rare there's a bios issue unless you did something to it or shut it off during a bios update.
