"Learning to use the HP-65" training videos produced by Hewlett Packard in 1974, converted from U-Matic format and made available on hpmuseum forums by Mark Hardman.
"The HP-65 is the first magnetic card-programmable handheld calculator. Introduced by Hewlett-Packard in 1974 at an MSRP of $795."
Mark Hardman notes:
9/25/2016
This project has taken several years to complete. No fewer than four conversion services were used in my attempt to convert the ¾” U-Matic videos to a digital format. The results were always terrible. I finally used a forensic recovery service to get the best quality results possible.
The cost of this project has been considerable. More than the original cost of an HP-65 in today’s money. Feel free to redistribute this archive. All that I ask is that you leave its contents intact-including this file.
I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I have.

Whoa, this is awesome! Congrats on the transfer -- Umatic r00lz! (Tho interestingly parts 2 and 3 show an open reel EIAJ deck under the telly). Gotta love the synth backing track and the mechanical animations. :^) Btw, I didn't realise you could single step in RUN mode on the 65. And I never did replace those 2 screws under the back label after fixing the card reader.
