The front powerbutton panel comes out without removing those back bolts. A grounding strap or gloves would be wise also.

hp compaq 6910p screen flickering problem Refixed the display cable same problem any solutions please
@dotelectronics6 жыл бұрын
hi ,there can be multiple causes for a display to flicker , if light shut down then comes back and image is still on display when you point a flash toward display : cheap resolve display cable is intrerupted or your invertor the thing in display case under display is faulty and needs replace , if you are not getting any kind of image : display cable is broken and make contact sometime and you need to change it or worst case your graphic chip or motherboard chipset is dying ( this is the first scenario i imagined based on your description ) if you light goes down and back up is probably the driver (second scenario) if the display is complete white or white with stripes : its display cable or graphic chip (third scenario ) if display flicker (it can vary ) display itself is dying and the lamps too and can be a faulty component on the motherboard that is giving too much power or too low power to display or make it alternatively and it's not constant

i can't say for sure what problem it has , i'm afraid that you need to start with the easy ones and check all too see where the problem is , all of problem description is guessing based on problems i encounted it may not apply in your case ... oww it may flicker due a faulty wall plug or a faulty charger that doesnt give constant power to laptop , or faulty battery if it's dead , or both charger and battery , battery may not charge on hp if charger is broken , you should try this first i encounter this problem too , again is pure guessing and i can't know for sure what your problem might be , i hope you find the and answer and fix this problem and i hope that i helped you
