Awesome Work ! Super impressive :) Subscribed for sure ! I really admire your efforts redesigning it and tiding things up. I'm about to get a nice affordable HP ProdDesk 600 G1 and just knew about the idiotic factory built power supply thingy and the main thing is that i have a 500Watt Power supply and a GTX 1050Ti that requires additional power. So i'm considering buying this computer, get an Add2psu to use the Power Supply that i currently have for the GPU ^_^ .. The main reason why i'm after this instead of buying every component separately is because it's WAY cheaper at this point :) . Thanks for the awesome video! :)

Thanks. I just modified mine because I could upgrade it a little bit at a time without spending alot of money all at once. Mostly because I had just bought one of my kids a 700 dollar computer and built one for my other kid which cost me 900 dollars.

Hello friend, I have the same equipment, I passed everything to a gamer atx yayian cabinet, it took me 8 hours to get along, I started to cut cables and disassemble for power, the front USB dismantled and disassembled taking it out of the plastic, excellent work on what did you do. You should upgrade to at least 8gb or 16gb of ram and then install a msi gtx 960 or higher and you will be good to go.

Hiya, i've recently started building a new computer using this motherboard but im fitting it into an aftermarket case and obviously the case i've bought doesn't have the heatsink mounts built into the back. Do you have any details on the size/type etc of the CPU heatsink and fan by any chance so I can order an aftermarket one? Thanks

The processor is a Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83 GHz. 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor. 8.00 GB of RAM and Windows 10 Home. Eventually I will put 16 GB of RAM in it. I just havn't got around to it yet because I havn't needed to. It runs geat with the 8 GB that it has. Also I just put a newer Wi-Fi USB Adapter in it and the connection is great. It's a Wavlink AC600 Dual Band - Model: WL-WN681A1 for $9.99 with free shipping at walmart.com.

So far the games I have been playing are: Space Engineers, Arma 3, Counter-Strike, Insurgency, Insurgency: Modern Infantry Combat and Project Zomboid. The computer plays the games with ease. I play the old Delta Force 2 (requires a patch) once in awhile. I also have Launchbox and Kodi installed on the computer.

@@AHMEDIBRAHIM-qg1ll The case is a 8000 Elite Case. I modified it. I cut the hole for the fan on top and on the side panel with a jigsaw and a metal cutting blade. Then I installed the molding and the fans.

Depends on your processor, if you have an i7, get yourself a low profile gtx 1650, a Zotac one runs you about $150 new. Don't even have to upgrade your PSU

The computer has the original power supply in it. It is model specific to this computer. The second power supply is out of a Dell E510 and it powers the fans and the graphics card.

Hi! If you're on a budget maybe get a GT 710, or 730( i would recommend) or if you have more money to spend which will give you more performance get a GTX 750ti 2gb GDDR5 it only uses the pci e slot so you dont need a 6 pin

I have HP Compaq 8000 Elite SFF i'm positive that it's the same as yours. Running at Intel Duo Core e7500 2.93ghz and 8gb ram. I want to upgrade the gpu.. I used to have a pc that was 15 years old and now this computer fell in my hands. For the 15yo computer the only part i had was Nvidia GT630 and i'd be hella completed if i could just insert it in the HP Compaq. But that's not possible so i'm positive all i need is a not too-greedy gpu upgrade so i can finally have for the first time in my life a machine that works like I'd expect it to normally work. I'm not comfortable with money as you may realise so I can't afford any mistakes on my future purchases, that's why i'm typing this. So, I never really had expirience on small case computers they give me a more hard time than laptops do on matters of upgrade. So I understand I need a low-profile GPU, but do upgrading GPU necessarily comes with bying powersupply and add2psu adapter? What's the best gpu I can get that doesn't need extra supply and other purchases? Just to have a decent pc..

I believe the recommended system power for a GTX 1050 is 300W. The 1050 is 300W and the 1060 is 400W.
