The photos may not be able to be scanned due to it's thickness, but assuming it can scan, and save to the computer, there should be no problem printing the scanned photos with this printer. Suggestion is to use a flatbed scanner to scan the photos - can scan more at the same time and minimize any possibility of damage due to going through any scanner rollers. Never remembers folder where I want to save the scan. Stopped working after 20 pages (probably some connect problem) HPSmart works, but it has another problem - it always shows black stripe on the top during manual feeding of the paper (simply don't recognize start of the page) I don't reccomend this. You would lose a lot of time...

This is so stupid!! The engineer who designed this printer and put the scan feed from the front to back of the printer should be drunk or on drugs!!! We cant load more than 1 sheet at a time... the sheet dont have any support to hold and sometimes it fail to load... How i regret of buying this printer!!!!
