Thanks.. I was having a hard time with the stick release on the back of the keyboard.. was trying to flip up the white part, because it was closest to the cable.. but saw you had the black back side one up..

You can push out the keyboard , no need to lift it from the palmrest. There is a hole under it ;)

Insert a screwdriver or similar thin tool into the hole beside the heat sink/fan assembly, and then press on the back of the keyboard until it disengages from the computer

Can you actually remove keyboard without unscrewing M2.5×5.0 screws? Btw manual states there are 4 of them but I can only see 3 on the model I am repairing.

Karolina Bogdevič the fourth screw is just below the m2 slot in the gray part. The keyboard symbol is hard to notice.

Can you please tell me if this laptop accept this ssd www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-960-evo-m-2-250gb-mz-v6e250bw/ ... and 840 g1 will accept it to ??? Thanks in advance
