On the left side of the device, underneath the scanner assembly, make sure the scanner lock is in the unlocked position. Turn the device off, then on. If the message reappears, record the message and contact support. This problem affects scanning, but some printing functions might still be available. OK 30.01.08 - Scanner failure

try to upgrade your frimware download firmware from hp site and install it like it show on there page

boss its simple turn off you printer turn it on by pressing the key dont left the key till it show settings
