Made back in December 2022, this video shows one of the L/R channels being tested on the motherboard. I will soon make a video of the finished product which was completed not long after this video was made.
The signal first goes through a 2164 VCA into DG413 analog switch into either a RAT core distortion, or bypasses it, where it then goes into another DG413 analog switch which can bypass the entire filter stages which are a Voltage controled resonant LP feeding into a Voltage controled resonant HP CEM3320 based filters. There is then an additional 2164 VCA stage on the output. The CEM3320 based low pass filters in the data sheet have the bass droop issue when resonance is applied, but I borrowed an idea from the SSI2164 application notes document which also works well on the CEM3320 to maintain the bass level when resonance is applied to the LPF.
I did have aspirations of making a full semi-modular modulation section to make this into a Sherman inspired all-in-one sound mutilator but the project took over a year to finally complete and I just wanted to see the back of it by then. I may Shermanize it at some point but it's not high on my to-do list.
