I have the same mouse different keyboard and the light on the mouse after turning on turns off after a couple seconds and doesn't work I've tried switching usb spots and it still doesn't work. I've also tried different mouses they don't seem to work either. The keyboard is wired and I've put it in the same spot as the mouses usb was at and it worked just fine. I don't know how to get the mouse to start working again. (I'm sorry this is so long)

I have a similar HP all in one with that mouse but mine is wired. Out of the box the scroll feature has been glitchy; works a little then it goes up instead of down, or back down when supposed to go up etc. Anyone else notice that and what fix? You forgot to insert the USB drive ( including in the tiny cardboard in the package ) on the back of monitor ( USB ) ALL IN ONE HP. It happened to me too. I called Geek Squad of Best Buy and the technician told me to find "USB' drive in the tiny cardboard of the shipping box and most people did not know because It was so tiny like a finger. It was called USB drive. After I found it and inserted on the back of monitor ALL IN ONE HP. It worked perfect.
