The ppi (Pixels-per-inch) is109 you only see that on 4k monitors.This means your getting a lot better image then basic 2k resolution on this monitor .My friend has the expensive asus 4k monitor and his ppi is102. Also the the color is so good on here you don't need HDR this is a must buy if your a 2k gamer👍👍

Yes if your pc parts can run this it’s worth the upgrade bth it 400$ after sales tax’s it caught me off guard but I went and bought this on Black Friday and it’s great 👍 especially if you and doing a one monitor setup cause the slim Bessel and vibrant colors hope this Helps 👍

@@MekelKasanova if you got the money, its a no brainer unless you want HDR or a ultra wide display or even 240 HZ . the build quality is outstanding though. its a really solid monitor that will add to any setup bc as a overall package its great. great vid btw. cant go wrong for 380

@@animeshmeshram5997 it’s an IPS panel with a 1440p resolution and 165hz refresh rate... not to mention both G-Sync and FreeSync compatible, all at a 1ms response time. No need to shit on it I’d say it’s a pretty good choice. Also has some RGB lighting

The PS5 currently doesn't support 1440p resolutions. Only 4k or 1080p. Also, the ps5 can play 120 fps, while this monitor supports 165. IMO this isn't a very good option for the PS5

You can use it. It will display 1080p 120hz over HDMI. Sony will eventually update the PS5 to support 1440p output.

@@MekelKasanova 8bit + FRC - 120hz and the monitor also has 1.2 DP adapter, but it can do 8bit @ 165hz vs the LG850n 8bit + FRC - 144hz and it has a 1.4 DP adapter. makes no difference honestly. 8bit+FRC is like.. useless honestly lol. omen is the better deal for competitive FPS

I got you, personally, this monitor has a very strong red base. For me, I have Gaming Mode, brightness at 90, contrast at 80, and RGB levels: Red 205, Green 225, and Blue 255. Every panel is a bit different due to manufacturing tendencies, but I encourage you to try this out and let me know if it helped. Rtings reviewed this monitor and scored it at a 5.7/10 in terms of pre calibration out of the box color accuracy. Everything else works phenomenally but the colors definitely need to be tweaked a bit. I hope the settings helped, enjoy!

Got this monitor for my ps5. I would like it to run 2560 x 1440 at 144hz but im not sure how? It says its currently at 1980 x 1080 at 60hz. Any idea how to fix this?

You can’t use the 1440 right now but you can run 1080 at 120. Put your ps5 into performance mode and go to your monitor and enable frame rate display.

unless you really want to have a monitor 1440p i would recommend those that are able to receive 4k input which then downscale it to 1440p and i would suggest to return your hp since the ps5 cannot take full advantage of the monitor

@@MekelKasanova dang!! I know the Asus and LG offerings are downscaling the 4K to 1440p and in PS5 settings it shows up as 4K and apparently looks great. Capped at 60 FPS but better than 1080P visually. Thanks for the reply!

@Jake Herrera Just got mine today and I have to admit it looks brilliant on the series X ... not to mention, that it works at 1440p 120 hz and VRR on, which is really a kind of issue with other monitors right now :P I don't regret buying it :) For settings I kept them pretty stock. Changed only the response time on level 2 and calibrated the RGB-Colors 240,250,253. Color mode Gaming. And I activated dynamic contrast, even though I don't know if it afflicts my input lag, but I think it looks more crisp due to missing HDR. Maybe @Mekel Kasanova knows? :P

@@iuryrenato games on the one s are really rendered to low internally. You’re basically scaling as most games on the one s barely render in 1080p most 900p. Stretching that image to 1440p will look like ass at times. This monitor is more suited to the Xbox one x and Xbox series x as they can push the resolution better.

Used this for the series s/x and it was doo doo. You could tell it was definitely missing some sharpness and more color. The Dell 32 qhd was far superior for the series s/x. In my opinion I would wait untill the 2.1hmdi comes out on the newer monitors for next year. 1440p is dope and solid but 4k 120fps is way better.

And idk what tv/monitor you have but I needed up with a 1440p Msi monitor and the series s looked amazing on the monitor. Also my brother bought a 4K Asus monitor and he has a series x and 120 FPS is super noticeable so I'm not sure where you're getting all your information that the Xbox isn't pushing 4k 120fps? Have you played vanguard beta? 120fps looks noticable compared to PS5. Lmao
