Thank you sir, This laptop is quite pathetic as u said. I was lucky to have replaced all parts within 3 year warranty (Hinges 2 times, battery+fan+keyboard section+display 1 time). Now, It's out of warranty I have to maintain it myself. The battery is swollen again and hinges are breaking the screw sections. I will try your method. Thanks again.

I'm scared of doing the hinge tare down because it involves the bezel on the display to be taken off is it easy to re install and hopefully there won't be any loose fitment issues with the bezel after re installing it I am facing a Screen flickering issue since day 1 of delivery and now my display has a permanent flicker on it's lower half and my speakers have stopped working and my hard drive has failed I watched your video and managed to take out the bulging battery

Those hinges look pretty strong. Would it be right to assume they won't break easily?

They are actually unnecessarily too strong...They have broken many laptop touchpads...

@@TechstoreCoIn Do you mean the body? I guess I'll just be careful when opening and closing. At least the hinges themselves won't break off and separate the screen from the lower body. That's a relief seeing how hinges are usually fragile. I hope the silver caps that cover the hinges last as well.

Paid $110 for the replacement screen (*part only) and managed to install it myself, albeit with a whole lot of the lil' brittle plastic bits from the laptop case basically disintegrating... That being said, my touch functionality is restored now, with no more damage on the screen itself, anyway. I couldn't tighten the hinges back as much I would've liked though, due to the broken bits on my keyboard case around them having been weakened, so I backed the nuts off JUST enough to keep my screen up with a reasonable amount of play, after initially breaking them loose. 👌

Hi ! I am facing this issue. The screw got stuck inside & when I open the laptop lid, the keyboard panel starts getting lifted along with the inner contents, kind of very scary. Do you know any good service in Delhi ? I am from south west delhi. I don't think I can repair this myself because a lot of tools I have to buy for it.
