You can. Just make sure to use same channel of 8gb RAM, i.e. 2RX4 etc also try to match speed like 2400..

Btw i downloaded cpu-z and it say my ram speed is 3200 Now im wondering because when i check to newegg where i buy my laptop it says DDR4 2933 now im confuse because i really want to make it 24gb.
