Thank you for tutorial! I plan to buy HP T53O but have a question about. What is the advantage of using Coral chip?

Hi thank you for your great video I have this pc and experience issues when it plays full HD content from KZbin I have to select 720 in the best case Is it normal? For me this issue is fundamental Are there similar PCs with better graphics performance? Thanks a lot again and kind regards Gino

this machine is not good for youtube. it is best to be set up to be a Home Assistant server as seen in the video

@@dablet hi thank you for the very kind and precious advice Are you aware of similar thin PC that can be good also to watch full HD KZbin content ? I really love this form factor They are very very good looking small and practical and can be found 2nd hand for a nice price Thanks again

This video is so nice. for me. I want to apply Samba Server on Ubuntu 22.04 LTE to hp t630. I think hp t630 is more flexible than hp t620 or hp t620 plus. I expect that M.2 NVMe SSD and M.2 WiFi 5 or 6 on hp t630 may be applicable. hp t620 or hp 620 plus M.2 SSD and WiFi module setting screws are 1.5mm diameter, these screws hard to set up modules.. My initial Samba Server was on Raspberry Pi 4, and now switched to hp Prodesk.

Could you tell me which TPU I should get for this? Would the CORAL G650-06076-01 Dual Edge TPU work? Thanks
@dablet9 ай бұрын
i forgot which i used. if you can, get the USB coral so you can plug into any machine and that's what i am using
@m236059 ай бұрын
@@dablet The problem is that the USB one is very expensive. It's actually cheaper to buy two different m.2 versions and then use the one that works :) . Do you know if the t530 wifi slot is m or e or b key?

Why do you use the Coral A & E m2 module? What is it for? Is it necessary?
@dablet Жыл бұрын
It is for human detection with my amcrest, hikvision, and eufy cams. Not needed if you don't care about human detection

Hi, i was not able to find the t520 version but i have the Thin client t620. I will try this setup to migrate from raspi4 to t620.

I noticed in alarmo you had certain devices, I’m assuming smoke sensors, to always. How do you do this in alarmo?
@dablet Жыл бұрын
in alarmo, click on Sensors tab. choose the entity that you want from the list then choose Advance. the option is only available for some sensors, not all
@michaelthompson657 Жыл бұрын
@@dablet thanks for that! Yeah that’s probably why I didn’t see it, because I don’t have any devices! I did assume it would be there though!

Do you still recommend this setup?
@dablet11 ай бұрын
yes! any NUC, thin client, or chromebox is 10x better than any RPI.

Thank you for this tutorial. I have an HP T520 and followed the steps. However it prior flashing it asks for Admin password. Do you know how to bypass this?
@dablet2 жыл бұрын
im sorry i dont know. mine did not ask for Admin pw.

Hi, how about power consumption? Is it low?
@dablet Жыл бұрын
it uses the same power connector as the HP laptops of about 19v and 2 amps. a lot more than the RPI, but still not bad

hahaha what a hacky channel have I discovered? Other videos cool too.. hahaha I accidentally bid for 12x HP T530 and I really hope I don't get them, but if I do, I know what I can do with them.

thanks for stopping by! there's so much you can do with thin clients. they are so much better than rpi imho
