Little late to the party, but here's what you should know. 1) The EPA says any vehicle with a VIN, even if used for off-road, should not have any emissions equipment (including ecu) modified. This is why the RPM Act was created in 2015, to ensure that it would be legal to modify off-road vehicles, regardless of changing EPA interpretations. 2) The RPM Act has never even been voted on, so as of now, modifying a production vehicle, even for off-road use, is a violation according to current EPA diktat. 3) HP Tuners has now made you go on record as saying you understand what is legal and not legal to modify. 4) I'm pretty sure that the Ver 5 software provides unique identifiers in any tune you create with it. Result? If someone with a modified car gets busted, EPA can now pull the tune file and find out who created it. They can go back to HP Tuners and request the info on that person, and use the fact that you attested you understood the legalities involved, to bust your ass with fines and more. Does HP Tuners have to give them this info? No, but they'll throw you under the bus to protect their asses.

the EPA was created by executive order like how a dictatorship operates and it is as Un-American as things can get. the EPA doesn't actually protect the environment they take bribes from Big players and allow them to pollute but come after the little guy

so what if you have an original device how do you add it, I updated and cant seem to finish with adding the code because my device isnt a 2 or 3

Nope. HP Tuners is trying to get out in front of it, before it becomes an issue. This solution has already started in other software in our industry.

I did everything instructed to get access to everything and my o2 sensor sensor fitted and I still don't have access to that option because it still grayed out P.S I have two o2 sensors and its set to one causing problems with my car

Ultimately, you'll miss out on new features that are added. You will also not be able to view anybody's log files who has a newer version than you or even open their tune file.
