HP Tuners Speed Limiter Removal | Adjusting Top Speed

HP Tuners speed limiter removal ( or speed limited adjustment ) can be helpful for a variety of reasons. If at the drag strip, there may be a need for increasing top speed. Similarly, if someone wants to lower the top speed to prevent driving at excessive speeds (such as a company vehicle or a student driver situation), this is a simple way to do it! Can you adjust the transmission shift points with that program I love my h3 but I live in mountainous terrain and it just doesn’t like to stay in third gear going uphill is always want to downshift and rum at 6000 rpm forever and it just doesn’t seem like a good thing when third is just right. But it avoids that gear like crazy

Hello again, I know you found the transmission shift point video, but I figure I will respond to your comment here just in case it helps someone else out! HP Tuners can indeed be used to adjust shift points to mitigate the issue you are describing, which is a very annoying problem to have! 6,000RPM sure doesn't feel nice haha.

95 sure is fast in these things! I generally stay below 65mph at all times. Better for fuel!

So what was your top speed before that. I think I asked you this before and I'm shocked you remembered and did a video lol. But I never asked what was your top speed. I just wrote you and said mine stop at 95 then won't go any faster. Dash says I should be able to go 110. That was when you said it was fuel cut off which won't allow my truck to go no faster. I'm still pissed hummer did that. They should just say 90 95 max on dash. When you see top speed on your dash say 110. You naturally expect to go 110. Only to be disappointed when you hit 90 shit start slowing down then soon as you reach or kiss or touch 95 it automatically shuts off fuel until about 93 90 then everything works as usual. This is b.s. 😂😂😂😂

I sure did remember! It takes a while to get around to all the requests haha. My top speed was set at 98mph from the factory. It is odd having a speedometer with the 110mph reading but our PCM's set to only ~95mph. It's a super quick adjustment with HP Tuners, though!

@@H3Humper if only you lived Tampa area lol. But I'll be alright. I'll stick with 90 to 95 max. I don't push it that fast all the time. Once every blue moon. Other words never lol 😆.
