Easy fix to random but common GMC no start issue. Spray CRC electronic cleaner into male and female electrical connection of the ignition switch let it dry, start vehicle. Over time carbon buildup and oxidation degrades the electronic signal in that plug. GMC dealers have no clue and often replace the entire key housing and/or starters etc ends up costing you a $1000 rather than a $12 can of spray🤷♂😂 the 🔑is just fine too.

Hello Dingle D, I watched your videos several times in the past to address DIY work on my hummer, and now I subscribed to it. I need help finding the idle control valve location on my H3 2008. 5 cyl engine, to replace it. Can you point me to the right location? I know is somewhere around the throttle body, which I removed and cleaned a few days ago. Thanks for your help and happy youtubing!

@H3HumperАй бұрын
Hey man! It ended up being the most random and unexpected issue ever that was related to the previous owner's engine swap. The previous owner did not properly position the intake-side cam sensor, so the computer was not able to utilize the cam position information correctly. I eventually made a template for the sensor bore and made adjustments to properly position the sensor, and the issue was completely resolved. Here is a link to the video describing my issue: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIDIqJSbq69_Y6c

@@H3Humper i have seen the video, but was your issue lean condition or specific code for camshaft position sensor failure ?
@H3HumperАй бұрын
@hebertjessedparramoreno2114 my apologies! It's been a while, and I think I was mixing up problems. At one point, I had a lean condition because the PCV nipple on the valve cover was taking air in because it was disconnected.

Hey buddy, i have my H3 06 and i am driving in a lean condition p0171. I found a crack in my exhaust manifold, but i have done welding on that and not more leaks, i have done replacement for the o2 sensor, cleaning in throttle body, sea foam in the gas, new valve cover, engine was rebuilt 1 month ago, pretty good idle, pretty good running but i hate to see the p0171 lean condition to much air. I have installed a new maf sensor and nothing, the light still there ! I can't hear sounds like vacum or somthing. I have been checking the H3, i know a lot, but i like to learn more, do you have any sugestión? Fuel pump seems good and i can drive hard, but the light make me crazzy because that could makes detination or overheating. Also, the engine works pretty good in temperature under the middle line. I would be grateffull with any answer ! Bless for you ! I have learn a lot of you
@H3HumperАй бұрын
Hello again! Sounds like you've been on a good track as far as solving your problem. I would suggest testing fuel pressure (see my fuel-pressure test video). After verifying proper fuel pressure, I would try a smoke test. I made my own smoker and there are better ways of making them, but they work SOOOO well at locating air leaks. Once connected, they take probably 5 minutes before you see smoke pouring out of leaks. I love them. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2KppJKJe7yfrs0

Hey! I assume this would work the same on the Sony 16-35 f4.0 lens as it did with this one? Same lens bayonet to buy from eBay or would it be a different one?
@H3HumperАй бұрын
The process and bayonet should be the same. I recommend looking on the Sony Encompass website to verify the part number on the bayonet for your specific lens. Some of the other lenses have metal "shims" under the bayonet. Be careful when you open yours and keep track of those shims (if you lens does have shims, it might not have them).

@H3Humper2 ай бұрын
There is a DIY smoke machine build to help locate vacuum leaks. Making and using one of those is so nice for locating air leaks. Did you verify the rubber piping from the black square intake baffle on the top of the engine is still connected to the valve cover nipples?

My question is I ordered tires online and then TPMS sensors from Amazon... When I asked the guy at the tire shop if they would be able to install them since I didn't buy them through them he said yes but his computer wouldn't be able to program the new ones for the vehicle... Does this really need to be done or can I just use the sync method and the vehicle's computer will acknowledge the new sensor?

@ didn’t appear to. I am still assembling. This morning I turned the crankshaft to test the component installation (like u explained in video) and all seemed well. I hope it was a bad lifter because I definitely don’t want to remove heads. One other interesting thing is that there was no friction washer on the crankshaft.
