Thanks for this brilliant guide! Perfectly informative, not skipping any steps but leaving out unnecessary waffle. I don't have home WiFi, just mobile data on android phones ... Does the printer update the instant ink service and download software updates when you connect WiFi direct to android phones? Or does it work if you hot-spot to the printer from a phone?

You would have to use the hotspot on your phone.
