I have same laptop. It's a beast of a machine! I bought mine then upgraded it. It came with 16g ram. I upgraded to 64g ram, and added a hard. U can upgrade the laptop as if it were a desktop.

@@kingstonechurchilltech It hasn't disappoint me except I cannot take a screenshot, I've watched countless videos on KZbin and did exactly the same thing. It doesn't screenshot. My print screen button doesn't do any action, not as if the button is bad

I highly recommend getting one with a m5000 gpu if you can. Pretty decent gpu. For not so demanding pc games

Hi 👋🏽! Thank you for the review. I'm looking to get it but for some reason in Nigeria,the HP Zbook 17 is what i could find within my budget. Is it as good? Here are the specs: intel core i5 7440HQ , 7th generation processor, 256GB SSD storage , 16GB RAM , Quad core processor, 4GB Nvidia Quodro M1200. My aim is to use it mainly for video editing, graphics design and Microsoft excel. I look forward to your response. Thank you.

Hi, hope this feedback didn't come too late, So comparing this with then zbook17, is that z15 is slightly above it processor wise but on graphics side they are of the same strength, ( keep in mind that 6th and 7th gen processors are almost similar in fact there is no notable difference.) so i7 6th gen is better than i5 7th gen. Then physically z book 17 is quite bulky as its 17 inches. otherwise despite all that if you have no otherwise you can have it because it will serve its purpose quite well or do more research and get a slightly better one.

@@kingstonechurchilltech yikes unfortunately they said they sold the last unit yesterday evening. But I found a more new version with great features which u reviewed as well. It's the HP elitebook 735 G6 with 2GB dedicated graphics. I think that can serve well for 720p/1080p graphics and video editing and still serve well as a great laptop for a student like me. I like the fact that it uses AMD Ryzen 7 pro 3700U. What do you think?

I own this laptop for 7 years now it crashed like 4 times since I bought it and I formatted it and now it crashed again , the screen is not that great and it’s slow I use it for architecture so it went through alot! It can get you the through uni years because it’s affordable but it will give you headaches for sure

i think the one you had, issues for sure....if laptop crushes mainly OS, it was due to a bad HDD or SDD i wish you realized that earlier, none the less using one laptop for 7 years that so massive.

I use daVinci resolve, and I had some issues with it using too much GPU and crashing. Fixed it pretty quickly by adjusting my Graphics Cards settings & Rendering speed on Resolve. It does struggle with very GPU intensive programs for me, but it's not too bad!

G2 comes with a 4th Gen processor and either 1 or 2 GB dedicated graphics card. While G3 is 6th Gen and comes with either 4gb or 2gb dedicated graphics card.
