Correct. First DIMM slot of the first 2 memory channels for each CPU. Smash that subscribe.

something that was not clear to me. If you have 4 dimm modules and 2 cpus. do you still put them on the first 4 whites? or do 2 whites on cpu 1 and 2 on cpu 2? I'm not sure i understand if the ram is shared or allocated per each cpu. great informative videos!

Yes. Must be same type. Cannot mix LRDIMMs with RDIMMs. Contact [e-mail] and we can quote you some options and make sure compatible with your current memory. Note: Will clock down to slowest speed installed.

1600 is not ddr4, it is ddr3

Yes but DDR4 with low end procs... and fully populated memory channels can clock down to 1600 or 1866.
