what are you talking about? stock internal waste-gate? The e46 M3 is a naturally aspirated engine. Stock it does not come with a supercharger or turbo. These kits come in stages. The waste-gate output is redirected back into the exhaust stream.

The sound heard when he lifts off the throttle is the blow off valve venting the excess boost pressure in the intake track to atmosphere. The waste gate has an entirely different purpose. It helps regulate boost pressure so you can have control over how much boost the turbo generates. Excess boost is bled off either to atmosphere or routed back into the exhaust track. C'mon man, you have an STI in your avatar, these are basic components.

He has an internal wastegate... however after listening to this video several times.. I dont hear the BOV... but I do hear the wastegate... and the kit has an EXTERNAL wastgate, which makes WAAAAAAAY more noise than the stock internal wastegated setup! Cheers... besides we all want one of these cars!
