I got the same one last year all I can say is 3s is nuts! 2s still will pop up anytime. They just don't make a different style body. If you find one let me know.

+RC Tanks & Trucks 24/7 I had problems setting up the ESC to get it in lipo and 100% mode had to take it to Hobby Town and took them 2 hrs to get into work. Also front wheel would wobble HPI sent 2 new tires and rims. But I also got some 2.8 trenchers on Desperado's for back and 2.2 in Badlands on Des..for front. Just waiting to get a new comp.

Hi please can I have honest opinion, I'm buying new 2wd car this week, torn between this and rustler vxl, want to run 3s for wheelies etc, just bashing fun with my son. already got hpi vorza flux, amazing buggy. had bullet Mt, broke too often. can't make mind up between the new 2016 firestorm flux and rustler vxl with tsm cheers 👍 ps durability out of the box is a massive plus for me!

Hello and thanks for watching. I would go for the Rustler which is tried and tested plus includes tsm which is awesome too. It is durable and has been round long enough to prove it's a sweet car and tough.

Hi. Thanks for quick reply. I am swaying toward rustler now I seen all the upgrades. Gonna get all the bright green rpm A arms and shocks, green hub carriers etc, and spray a rustler bodyshell neon green. Should look good when done. Thanks a lot.

with the esc fan... it isnt water resistant, they recommend to disconnect the fan, how do you do that?

+Justin Trinh generally the fan uses a spare channel in the receiver. Just unplug if that's the case

I tried changing the pinion gear but i fucked it up,either its to tight or too lose never perfect can u upload a video on how to change the pinion gear and the spur that would be very helpful dude👍

I just bought this exact model, but for some reason...my RX isn't enclosed in a plastic box. Even the HPI website says it is suppose to be in a box.

If you bought this truck as entirely new, you got screwed. Plastic is peeling off of the radio wheel, rear wing on body has obvious scrape marks from wheelies and the rear wheels and tires were replaced with Proline Desperado and Dirt Hawg wheels and tires, which are entirely the wrong offset for this type of truck, narrowing the back end.
