Maybe some wheel weights up front and replace a few plastic parts for metal, it might reduce the drag under the car avoiding it from take off using 3s, Great video btw, I have now got one of these on my list. (perfect for the beach in summer)

@@RCTanksTrucks247 Hey there. It's been two years, but I have some advice. The lower rear suspension arms can be turned around, that's why it has shock mounts on both sides. In stock configuration it's made for wheelies, but you can tune it for better stability. Next to that the three foam pieces in the battery tray can be placed differently to change the weight distribution to the front. Just put all foam blocks into the rear and the battery into the front. You could reduce the tension on the slipper cluch, but then you'd need to replace the clutch disks more often. It's cheaper than replacing the diff outputs and axles though.

Thanks for the vid. This is my go to RC. I purchased this version of the firestorm when it was first released and I have not had one issue. Oh except for the wobbly spur gear. Can never get it to stay straight and when I do it moves back again after a hard. Still my favourite!

Thanks got watching. I can't speak with experience about the redcat but the HPI is a wicked car. Goes hard, handles well on the ground and in the air. Plus it is robust

Do you have to do some custom modding to fit a go pro on it? Or do these RC car produsents come with a standard mounting? (Something similar would be ATX motherboard and PSU in a pc)

+Skyfx you can just stick any gopro mount on the flat surface of the body and it should be fine

Also the mount u use do u use 3m adhesive grip to stick it I had 2 of them but they both came of really fast I don't know what other grips to get for my camera ??

I just buy ebay gopro mounts. They are cheaper than the official stuff but just as strong. Never had an issue with them. Thanks for watching

Do you have the emh 3s esc in this Firestorm?..... if you do does it make a chiming noise when you turn it on and beep to count the number of cells its reading of the lipo? I ask this question because I have just installed the emh 3s esc in my WR8 and there is no chime on start up so I don't know if it supposed to or not?

It is true but will be hard to get into that speed whitout Custom The car like loosen the slipper and stuff Cause on 3s whatever speed u have U will wheelie when u have full throttle
