Dude I had the same one just with orange body shell , I got it second hand and it still had the old receiver with the crystal you had change if someone had the same frequency as you , I loved that thing but it was clapped … engine was good but chassis was held together with hopes and dreams 😢😂😂 thanks for the nostalgia my dude!!!

My Savage 25 is still running on it's original engine 💪 It also gets driven the least of all my RC's, but it'll start right up today. I forgot the first Savages had that manual fuel primer on the tank.

I put the original t-15 in my rs4 runs a dream now did have a Sh-18 in it before

I haven't had a savage out in years im gonna have to dig one out now😂.. that engine is running pretty sweet especially considering the system is not functioning properly with the cracked tank👍can't beat the OG savage though and when hpi went bankrupt in 2016 i was buying up loads of spares to the point where now i could build 3 or 4 new trucks 😂😂😂 don't know what todays version is like but i do know it's ugly as sin..🤮🤣

Had issues with my revo 3.3 keeps burning glow plugs, made sure its not lean or too rich out it back to stock just keeps burning them

Apart from the engine and one is a kit what’s the difference between a savage 21 and ss? Is the the frame blue on the ss

No blue chassis, that came later when they re-released the 21 as the savage 3.5... The SS was basically the same just in kit form with upgraded 25 (4.1) engine, ribbed exhaust pipe, stiffer springs (purple) and hardened drive cups/dog bones also a clear body so you could paint whatever colour you liked... 25 engine became standard until they released another SS with a 4.6 (28) engine and then later with the 5.9 (36) in the XL savage...
