Very nice truck , I'm building a savage up myself just now using two trucks I bought as spares repairs , I've been lucky both trucks turned out to be good , one has a good 4.6 and the other has a like new engine with huge compression, stay safe mate 🇬🇧

I have the power with good traction to wheelie from second to third gear. I would say its stronger than a 5.9.

Man... I love that thing. But for me nothing beats my Savage XL k5.9. It is just that little extra force, sound and power. And that 3 gear my god. Love your video btw

Yep! That savage has a FLM three speed with reverse. My XL has the LRP .32 but for me I like the feel of my savage x

Thanks! It's got the 15 Tooth robins racing bell and hpi harden steel 47 tooth spur. It also has a custom made engine plate that moved the motor back 3mm. Had to do that because I run buku clutch setups on my savages. I use the heavy springs and shoes on this savage. Makes it a real torque monster.

Where did you get those orange mud guards from

Homemade them. Just go to the dollar store and get the spray cleaner called Orange. Empty the bottle and cut it in half. Take an arm and cut one flap to your desired shape. Then flip it around and trace it to cut the second one. Add some small screws to bolt it up and you are done. Cost me about 5 bucks and it is plastic so they last.

I used the original HPI xl ones off my HPI build because I found a wheel that's the perfect offset offset for my xl. So I put the stock 4.6 ones on my Xl with the new wheels and it worked out great. So I moved the xl set over to my 4.6
