How would you resolve the light coming on during the day? When the switch is in either of summer or winter the light turns on in full daylight. Is the solar head available to purchase separately?

Mine will come on during the day if the battery is fully charged, to avoid an overcharge. Or, the light sensor on yours could be busted. I'd contact the company about warranty.

It's been nearly 4 years now and aside from losing about 2 hours of run time on the battery it works fine.

@@jonathannava5436 I had to replace the battery this fall. So it went nearly 6 years before it needed to be swapped, or about 2400 charge cycles give or take. I'd say that's pretty good. I used a generic lithium cell replacement and soldered on the old wires. $5 and back to working.

While nicely constructed, it is no brighter than a 40 watt bulb, about 130 lumens. This is to dim to be a good security light.
