Despite the ongoing war in the Ukraine, you must commend ICM for being so prolific in terms of its model kit releases, and they do make some beautiful well detailed kits. I haven't seen you do one of these military subjects for a while, and although it isn't my area, I always like to see the weathering and other details modelers apply to them.

Great unboxing Chris! Makes me want to break out my Peterbilt wrecker now! Rock on Brother!

Awesome!!! I absolutely need this for my light, recon. heavy and troop transport army trucks collection!!!! I hope they'll do more versions like the iconic armored slantback with the roof turret, as seen in just about every modern war movie! Between ICM, Trumpeter, Zvezda, MiniArt and Hobby Boss, one can almost get all the bases covered for iconic army trucks!

After market is going to love this kit. Lot of variety comes from this base💯

To prevent my Plastruct Bondene from tipping over and spilling, I use a 1" thick, 6"X6" piece of Styrofoam and cut a hole in the middle the same diameter as the bottle and set it inside. Hope this helps, buddy! As usual, Chris... outstanding build and review! Rock on Brother!

I've seen their "glass sandwich" technique used on some of their other automotive kits too... namely the 1911/1915 London and French taxi kits. I'm building both and they're typical ICM: superb!

Nice looking kit. Very well detailed for such a small scale. Great build. Thanks for sharing.

Man, I remember back 40 years ago when we started getting these when I was in the Marine Corps. They were replacing Vietnam era M151 jeeps and a welcome sight. As the units maintenance chief it was my job to ensure that my mechanics could drive and service them. They definitely were more capable than what they replaced.

I like watching your videos, to get ideas and inspiration, for my own builds and projects. With your Moebius Mercury M100, I’ve been curious what that blue would look like, I’m glad you used it.

Drove one of these while in the army.

Seems like the smaller the scale, the more detailed the finished kit. (Reference the recent LaFrance build also) nice build Chris!

Adult market sizing. Check the prices on 1/43 scale auto models.💵 kids build the bi-scale vehicles, keeps prices cheaper in that scale.

I drove one of those with an S-250 Small Extension Node signal shelter attached in the bed for five years with the Indiana National Guard and I've been waiting for this nice a kit to recreate my rig! Great build! Question...I remember a pull-down carrier for the entrenching tool (small shovel) and other tools underneath and just ahead of the rear bumper. was that included in the kit?

Moving the brakes inboard is to reduce the unsprung weight.

I hope they do size it up to 1/24 .
@scottysgarage4393Ай бұрын
Meng has (had?) a 1/24th H1. I haven't built it yet but in looking thru the kit it likely puts this one to shame just by virtue of the larger scale allowing more detail.

Scale Models by Kolewinski is a distributor based in Poland. I've bought MANY ICM kits from Simon there and, even with shipping, they're cheaper than ALL the distributors here. And the shipping speed is impressive for an overseas purchase too! Hope this helps 😁
