Another great build. HOWEVER, it did get a little "exhausting" at the end (insert Dad joke response here). So. how old am I? I was 23 in '69 and Uncle Sam still 'owned me" but this was one of the dream cars that kept me going - until I traded Army greens for good old Blue Jeans. Thanks again, Chris, for you unique and clever "takes" on each model you build.

Very nice weathering. You do a great job with the weathering, and have a lot of paints for weathering in your arsenal, but you should take a look at the AK Interactive washes and pigments. Great build. Love your stuff. You can still find the vintage molds of this kit on the auction sites and swap meets. I picked one up last year for about 25 bucks with shipping. Probably one of my favorite builds.
@chassegallerie29102 жыл бұрын
EXACTLY what I expected them doing, aka use parts from their many versions of that kit and then add the new hood and vents. Which is actually a good thing. This kit many variations are actually one of my fav kit (since they're all the same kit with certain differences). I though they would've also have added a "normal" exhaust pipe set, 'cuz from what I've read the exaust they use were something GM tried but they weren't that good, so they recalled all the cars with them to put on a "normal" exhaust system. But that's still fine, just thought they'd take the time to do this as well since they took the time to make a new hood. Again, really nice build. I'm not into damaged vehicles at all, but the more I see builders like you build such cars, the more I'm thinking of doing one myself one day.
@joakimkarlsson92552 жыл бұрын
A set of stock exhaust manifolds would've been nice too. Also a set of tires that fit the larger rallye wheels. The exhaust from the revell '69 Nova will fit nicely att the back. In the front it needs to be trimmed to fit the manifolds. Stock manifolds can also be found in the Revell '69 Yenko or COPO Nova kits.

Yeah, if they enjoy being that precise that's cool, but when they insist everyone else build their way and cut down those who choose to enjoy their hobby their own way is when it scares people out of the hobby for good.
