One thing you do to your models to set them apart from many is accent the door and truck lines with a wash. This separates from looking real vs looking like a toy my opinion. Same as the grills . Thank you for your videos, you are far my favorite to watch build.

I would love to see some custom van kits again with some air brushed art for the front and back. When I was a kid I remember seeing a Ford Econoline van around Rome Georgia (where I live) It was a dark blue in color with a BEAUTIFUL white Pegasus painted on the side of it. I found out many years later from the sister of the actual owner of it that it belonged to a young man who was a parapalegic who did most of the interior work on it. She had also told me that the mural of the Pegasus was inspired by a Steve Miller Band album cover. It was a BEAUTIFUL van. I wish I had a picture of it to show you.

Nice work as always , man. I've always loved these old *AMT* *Chevy* *Van* kits ---- used to get them at *GEMCO* back in the 70's . It's so awesome that *Round2* has been reissuing these in their many iterations ; so far I've only got the *Emergency* / *Ambulance* reissue . One item that's been bothering me , and it's not mutually-exclusive to AMT (et al.) kits : The American Flag decals are correct *only* for the right (driver's) side ! When applied to the left ( passengers' ) side , the Union is facing in "Retreat !" association ! The Union ( the Stars ) is always supposed to be facing-forward . Never-the-less... that doesn't detract from your build . I always enjoy your videos and their content .

I just watched this review recently and had to recall some parts of it with a build I’m doing. The Cannonball Run Dodge emergency van. I detailed up the engine and interior only to realize no one will ever see it. The rear and hood are completely enclosed. Now I understand it’s a kit from the 80s but wow, so much false advertising on the box. The movie Van was a Dodge Sportsman Van, and that kit does exist and is pictured on the box BUT, the Van used for the kit is a standard Dodge Van and not even the right year or model. Might have to shop for a donor body and grill.

By bad guys you mean Proctor and Harris? That's a nice kit. Kinda find it odd tho that they put all those efforts on an engine that's not seen. This kit could've been a curbside and it would've been fine. I know there's an opening hood option, but even then, pretty sure you don't see much of the engine.
