on my laptop the display module seems to be misaligned when i close the lid - should opening it and loosening the hinge screws to align it properly work?

I had my Notebook sent in for repair two times and each time it came in in a worse state.. now at the third time they replaced the display panel assembly and the topcover with the keyboard.. it works at the moment. but my problem now is that i cant rotate the screen back all the way to be used in tablet mode. it seems like the hinges are placed a little bit deeper than it should be which prevents me from rotating it all the way back.. if i close the notebook i have a gap bigger than normal between the screen and the keyboard. is there an easy solution to fixing this? did they maybe forget to put a part back in when they replaced everything? i really dont want to send it back in for repair because of the previous experience. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

btw. the plastic back cover was replaced too during the last repair. Or is there an option that some parts were redesigned and they used non-matching parts for the repair?
