I got them from Aliexpress, 50mm: DV0502B12U, 40mm: FFB0412SHN. I coated the brace in a bit of silicone coating, pounded on the CF tube so it couldn't move, wrapped the CF tube with adhesive foam, put 3M dual loc tape on the battery, then strapped the battery on the foam. The dual loc tape presses into the foam so the battery can't move at all. I also have a piece of foam on the side of the battery just in case it "finds" the fans on the motor.

@@rclunatic Yeah It's 15t. The whole thing is aluminum except for the steel spring. It also come completely assembled & ready to install.

@@slabz710 That servo has near identical specs to the stock Spektrum servo. You definitely don't get your money's worth with Savox. Try a Primal PM1373 or JX PDI-HV2070MG. Both have over 1000 in oz, while the SW-0241MG has 555 in oz.

@@Megasty15 yeah my local hobby shop has been ripping me off on parts lately. I'm newer to the sport so i'm in need of real advice. And they just sell me some expensive item each time that does me no good.. i appreciate the info, and i'll most likely get the 1/5 primal RC servo now.

@@slabz710 Been there with the LHS headaches. The JX & Primal servos are 100% identical. Gears, motor, even the circuit boards are the same. I didn't know this until I bought the Primal. I've been using the JX for years.

I was trying to install this on my kraton 8s and cannot I figure out how to install it with the screws provided. the short screw seems to fit into the arm that connects to the steering rack, but the long screw is far too long to go into the servo horn, and there is a nut that came with the kit that I cannot figure out what its purpose is. Can you please point me to some directions on how to install this?

The short screw bolts the saver to the servo. The long screw is for the arm, it feeds through the arm, then the horn, & the nut.

@@Megasty15 Thanks. I have an EXB so my arm might be different. the ball is "closed" and the screw just screws into the ball, rather than passing through it. So I guess I don't need the nut.

@@atomos319 OK, that's not good at all. It's actually suppose to bolt through the horn, then arm, then nut. Having the arm ball closed means if the bolt breaks then it will be trapped in the ball. It actually broke on me 3 times already, but that was on some pretty bad tumbling crashes. Take a better look at the ball. The bolt does screw into the ball, but you will need to use the long one for it to come out the other side. The ball was open on all 4 8S rigs I have.
