Question, I would like to know how to use cell reference in a way that I can build a config for Cisco switches. I have interface that I would like to build and copy into the running config. I have the interface in column A and going down in rows. But some the cell I reference go across the columns. Switchport mode access and spanning tree portfast….. When copy a section and paste it low the cell jumper up in number in relation to the amount I jumped down.

Thank you very much for some good videos about Power BI. I still have some difficulties with calculating in Power BI. What do I use if I have a table consisting of work hours that people have registrered on projects and a table consisting of estimates of how many hours we estimated they will use and I want to compare the two? Also all the hours that have been registered is in single lines how can I sum all the hours employee A have registered on project A, B and so forth?

Is it possible to have 2 tables with a slicer for each, and a variance table created based on selection? Like Current Month with it's own slicer, Prior Month with it's own slicer, and a table for the variance between the two.

Yes, It is possible. Create diff. tables and diff. slicers. Further, you can go to format and edit interactions for each slicers.

I called myself trying that, but when I added the slicer it controlled both tables. I couldn't add another slicer. I supposed I could do it with 2 different datasets, but I want to use the same dataset for both and have a variance table and chart. Have you ever seen/done anything like that? Thanks for the reply.

Being in HR myself, I'm a bit underwhelmed by this video, because I know you can do so much more!! HR Analysts don't look at questions like "How many people's names start with A". I would have expected some analyses like what is the turnover rate by job category. What is the voluntary vs involuntary turnover rate. Etc. Also HR Analysts don't look at one source of data, they look at multiple sources of data. We could have analyses like what is the eNPS (employee net promoter score) from our last engagement survey, what has been our training expenses in the past year (or how many hours of training or development did we invest in such and such employee categories last year) etc.

Sorry for the thumbs down, but I've made this comment several times. You're using a (now very) out of date version of Power BI. There's no excuse for it since the app itself is free. I consistently cannot find how to do some things, and have to spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME hunting down even common things. UPDATE!! 🤬

What are you on about. This video uses Power BI July 2023 version. That is just 2 months behind. Creating a video takes a lot of work so it is natural that I record something at the end of July and edit it thru August and release in September. I am not sure what version you are using, but July 2023 and September 2023 versions look exactly same on my computer.
