HRB Batteries for Traxxas RC Car

Here I’m reviewing some new batteries I got from Amazon for my Traxxas E Revo. They are a lot cheaper and might even be better than the Traxxas Brand batteries.

Just got these and… they won’t charge in my traxxas dual charger? I charge non traxxas batteries all the time but it’ll sit there “charging” for 5-10 mins then error out with the 3rd light blinking… which is supposed to mean it’s too high or too low voltage but they’re brand new?

Surprisingly they are still holding up really good. I use them quite frequently and they are still going strong. So they were definitely a good buy!

I have a rustler vxl. Do those batteries plug right in without any kind of adapter?

Yeah! They’ll plug right in without any problem. The battery uses the old Traxxas connector, so it might look a little different, but it will still plug in! Just make sure that the battery will fit in your Rustler.

Question please. I have the same battery with the same single ez peak plus charger. How long did it take to charge the HRB battery on it. I had mine on there from out the box for like 2 hours and it never went past where it says 3A and never got the tone that it was fully charged or did it go all the way green. I took it off charger because I was worried something was wrong. Any help would be great. Thanks.

From out of the box mine only took about 20-30 minutes to fully charge. When they are fully dead they take about an hour to fully charge. I would make sure and double check all of your connections and make sure your balance cable is plugged in the right way. I always charge mine on the balanced setting and set it to 4A. Have you tried using the batteries yet? If not I would test them in your car and make sure they work and then go back and try to charge them. Hopefully this helps, good luck!

I know I'm replying a little bit late so sorry about that, but I get quite a lot of run time out of them. They definitely have a little bit more punch and run time than the Traxxas batteries. I don't know exactly how much longer, but they have been lasting me for quite a while now. Still going strong!

Wots different between the 5000mah and the 6000, and do both fit ?
