Deep. I haven't heard any other track that mocks Jazz vocalists (known as canaries) with a flute in EDM. That's how it came across at the moment. And no one needs to dance to electronic dance music. I like to just lay down and listen. This is a really good track to just get in the Zen and not think about anything else.

I was fortunate enough to see them live at a festival in the mid 90’s, great set, absolutely love the 303 sound and hardfloor are the masters at producing great acid tracks.

This is a case of "I normally don't do this".. This page has stayed in my array of tabs for a couple months now, so it's time for a review: The use of the 303 in this song is unlike anything I've heard. Instead of the "normal", continuous barrage of (though wonderful) 303 sounds, this one utilizes a couple short sequences coupled together with some sort of sophisticated simplicity that I didn't think the 303 was capable of. (I know, I hate pretentious-sounding sentences too, sorry for that). I'm serious though. The small amount of flutter in the end of one of the sound just makes it SOO beautiful (how do you accomplish that?? Is that effects put in afterwards or is that achievable directly on the 303?). The incrementation of the Resonance knob (?? I don't own one so I'm just guessing, maybe it's the cut off freq.) from perhaps 3:30 till the break is the absolute best part of the whole song (a slight shame that it doesn't occur again..). In total, one of the best songs the 303 has ever helped produce.

To respond, I'd bet BOTH my testicles that this is not achievable directly on the 303 but is from sampling it then adding fx/filters etc and tweaking the sound!

all machines used for the artwork are random and created by the designer. it was more about the overall vibe than to praise a special piece of gear / fun fact: we personally don´t use a MC-303 right now but we´re friends with one of its developers from Tokyo / Japan. (but everybody should know by now that we LOVE the TB-303) LOL
