I've been following this boy since 2007. He's going to be huge. He's a bit like Zidane in his style. He's not extremely fast, but he's very smart with and without the ball, extremely creative and has a great pass & also shot. I hope they don't play him in Xavi's position. He wouldn't be as good as Xavi, plus he's got a lot of different skills to offer in more advanced positions.

I can see him more being the "future iniesta" of barsa (if that can even exist) with fabregas being the "future xavi" Fabregas and Thiago of course have different styles but I can see them becoming a great team in the future. I also think is possible that Busquets will also become more like Xavi in the future... we shall see.

@FCBzgMUFC Neither am i talking about the future, Cesc is better than both of them now. But because Cesc has been playing for Arsenal until now people havnt accepted just how great he is. After a season or 2 with Barca he will be accepted as one of, if not the best Midfielder in the world.

Yeah and Barca were extremely lucky to win it in 06. They were losing against 10 men for the majority of the game till a 30 something Larsson came on and won it for them. Without Messi Barca would not have won even 1/3rd of the trophies they have won in the last 5 years. And thats a fact. Not that Barca arent a great team anyway. But having the best player in the world is what wins things.

Why do Barca win titles and CL? Messi. Thats why =) Without his 60+ goals a season they win nothing. Remember Cesc is a sub because Xavi and Iniesta have played together for 8+ years as Barcas midfield. You dont just break a partnership like that apart. Cesc has played 49 games this season though btw. Football is about more than stats, but goals and assists win the games. Didnt Barca go like 6 years without winning anything? Then Messi comes along and they win almost everything. Coincidense?
