What about CIPD certifications? is it good in the United States?
@HRPartyofOne Жыл бұрын
CIPD certifications are a globally recognized standard, so they are acceptable within the US. Many US HR practitioners may be more familiar with SHRM and HRCI. It depends upon the individual and the employer to decide what certification suits them. A certification is a great way to learn more to become an incredible HR professional, so no knowledge is wasted, regardless of the certification someone chooses.

So, in trying to review for myself, as someone with no previous HR jobs, but a comm major, an aPHR certification would be the certification I should go for first?
@HRPartyofOne2 жыл бұрын
Hey unpopularr, the aPHR certification from HRCI is a great choice to start off with. Also, I wouldn't let the lack of certifications keep you from applying for entry-level HR positions. You potentially could have the company pay or reimburse you for the certification. I am interested in diving into the D&I field. However, would you suggest the aPHR in addition to an D&I certificate or simply D&I or aPHR certificate paired with my education to secure a a great opportunity? I would love to hear your take on this!
