@@blastermaster2383 No it doesn't. A tree will grow it will produce fruit it just won't produce the same kind of apple as the parent plant. An apple tree also needs a different kind of apple treetops pollinated. It most certainly will grow fruit.

@@blastermaster2383 Where do you think apple seeds come from, do you think they drop from the sky? How do you think our ancestors planted apple trees? Do you even know what grafting is? How do they create a rose "tree" they graft a rose onto a tree . An apple tree is already a tree it doesn't need grafting unless of course you are trying to make it something it isn't. A bonsai apple tree doesn't need grafting all one has to do is stunt its growth by one of 2 ways either keeping it in a small pot and causing it to become root bound or by cutting back its roots. The height of a tree is based on its root system.

You are talking to someone that grows onions from an onion, a pineapple tree from a pineapple, potatoes from a potatoes so I can definitely tolerate it I was merely pointing out a fact. I will also say growing fruits and vegetables from a fruit or a vegetable without a seed is cool I do it a lot but it doesn't mean it is an easier process.

@@ireneekanem2538 Dont let be fooled by this....thumbnail they show you apple trees with aples,HERE THEY ONLY SHOW HOW TO GERMINATE IT ANYWHERE AS LONG YOU HAVE FERTILE SOIL SUN,WATER.Is good to grow veggies,strawberries etc but fruit trees takes a lot more work to be done, for it to give you the fruit just like with fig trees,grape vines.etc.

Maybe the apples do not rot because they are being kept alive through the roots that grew..... they get nourishment just like if they were still attached to the tree.

I surprised there was no bugs in the water. All that sugar and the proteins in that water and no bugs were attracted?? Granted, Aloe is a rooting agent, but that doesn't explain the lack of insects. And those apples grew a months' worth of roots in 10 days?? Where did the nitrogen come from to grow leaves? None of the ingredients contained enough nitrogen.

For anyone that wants to know when you like an apple type. Taking a seed out of it and trying to grow the same apple dont work. Nearly everytime you will end up with crab apples. You need a cutting from the apple tree you want.

that is really a fantastic way to grow apples - I didn't know that you could grow them that way and that the sprouts would be from the top of the plant and the roots would be from the bottom and also that the way to get them to grow would be to feed them eggs and banana and sprite and aloe vera. I am going to try that in my garden with pots - so wonderful - you could grow a lot of apple trees this way.

It will take from 3 to 5 years to be getting sweet apples each year. Do fertalize, but not too strong. Rabbit and chicken droppings may help the fruit to grow. You have beautiful starts for Apple Trees. Very tasty fruits.

I'd think the new plant would die as the meat/fruit rots so I'd be wasting a LOT of TIME only seeing short term growth (few weeks). At least that's what happens when I do this with onions sprouting from the middle. I have to remove the fruit to prevent rot over taking the life...

For this to work do the apples have to be fully mature? Or if it still works with less than perfect apples, will the success rate go down? And in the video, I wanted to verify; the apples when you start are touching the liquid right? (Its hard to tell this at the beginning.. when you see the roots out the roots are touching but I can't be certain at the beginning.)
