Looks like a great trip! Glad to see your oil usage went down and the ignition issue was an inexpensive fix! Congrats on a successful tour! 👍

I think only tools I used were a pliers and screwdriver. And unfortunately…I think I’m still dealing with ignition issues.

Get some styrofoam insulation at hardware store. Wrap the fuel line. Tin foil works great too!

I actually had it wrapped in a special insulation but removed it…that being said it was the HEI module going bad that acted like vapor lock

I drive a 21 foot Winnebago brave every summer. It has the d300 chassis with the 440-3. I have a denso starter, power master alternator with a 10ga wire from it to the battery. My ignition is all stock Mopar except the coil, that's pextronics. My fuel system is a mechanical Cater, 3 filters lines are wrapped with special fuel line wrapped. 850 Thermo quad rebuild by me. It runs like a dream. And the starter is a modern denso from newer Mopar.
