As a child I loved this music, I lived at Lake Constance, on the Gehrenberg, between apple trees and a panoramic view of the lake and the Alps. Very early, when no one was awake yet, I was taken up by these sounds. I heard them from inside, as if in a clearing by a small lake. And it echoed back from the forest, and sometimes God himself seemed to be playing along: Ducks quietly beaking and immediately silent again. Holy peace, God's beautiful nature ... And Ravel, this infinitely enchanting mystic.

I am confused.
