Thanks for the tutorial Tony. Though I tried your method to pull the unit apart, after hitting it with my purse a few times I ended up hanging it back up which made this step a lot easier. Then afterwards pulled it back down to remove and re-insert the filter.

Yes. Just a cheap metal box for the filters. Could have been designed better.

Hi Tony. Thank you for the video. I've changed my filter but the unit had shut down just after I purchased my property. How do I turn the controller back on? No lights are indicating even when I press buttons for what feels like ages

Try pressing the 'on' button for more than three seconds. Otherwise perhaps you should contact HRV. It is not something I have encountered that the unit turns off entirely.

I have had the same issue. HRV claim it's because I used after-market filters and not theirs. I don't believe that. It could mean air is leaking. My latest filter change was about 10 months ago and I haven't had the problem again so far. My system is quite old, perhaps that is a factor. I noted the date that I made the change, and simply reset it everyt ime it started flashing until I knew the filters were due for the next change. It has been stable since then. Hope this is helpful. Truthfully don't know. May depend on what you can get where you are. The main test would be if it fits without a struggle, it should be right.

Hy Tony, could you show ue settings above number 22 upto finish as i changed some if settings so my hrv make my home very hot in summer and cold in winter... fan run on full speed. Please make video of all setting above number 22

Sorry, I am unable to make another video. Interestingly, HRV no longer has a manual for these models on their website. They try to force people to spend money on their services only. I can only suggest that you carefully go through the instructions provided and avoid pressing any button more often than needed. If you still have an issue, you may need to contact their customer support.
