You girls are wise beyond your years. You’re so fresh and have the world ahead of you. I first started an eating disorder at age 16 and never recovered. I am 42 now and still suffering. I weigh less now than I did at 16! Never turn back. You both are beautiful inside. And your spirit glows. Take it from the old fogey and keep moving forward! I admire your progress.

How do you listen to your body when running is a hunger suppressor? I've had a lot of problems with this
@amberschulz5254 жыл бұрын
GOTTA EAT EVEN WHEN NOT HUNGRY!!!! Eat multiple snacks and even if your not hungry have them anyways because your body NEEDS that! The more you do it the more your body will want it!

how is running a hunger suppressor?? i thought it increased ur hunger um
@sammy73014 жыл бұрын
@@calc9670 i rlly understand what shes saying about that hunger supressor caracteristic. I went through the same situation, i guess i was running too much and not eating enough. And its not like i didnt want to eat, i was just not hungry enough to eat snacks all time of the day. Also after the workout u always have a strange feeling of not wanting to eat, you feel sick or you don't want to eat right away . I had this health problem similar to amber and carly but it wasnt stress fractures but its related to period issues. I was underweight and for like almost 2 years i hadnt my menstruation back serious issues here. Then my doctor forced to stop running at my peak, was pretty hard. im a highschooler btw entering in college this next year ;)

For anyone struggling to gain weight, adding fats is the easiest way, and I also drink milk 3 times a day and a boost plus. Boost plus are actually pretty good (vanilla)

It honestly surprises me that so many at your age see weight gain as a failure. Your body is literally still growing and will be maturing into your 20s... You can hinder so much growth by restricting at this age, obviously stress fracture is a telltale but everyone is thinking in the short term - in the long term you could grow old having poor bone density and having never reached your growth potential
