Its good to see they are still working hard at that late in the day. Yes I remember cricket on the TV and radio, I used to do this with the BBC Sight and sound where they had bands playing like Steeley Dan and 10cc on the TV with the sound on the radio too, back then the speakers in your TV were not as good as they are today but your stereo system used to sound better so you could listen to it better on there. It would be nice to ride over this once its completed and see it from the other side, the view the workers have of the bank that you stand on

I mentioned in another segment on a Peter walkup to HS2 that we should setup a nice elevated location on this north side at giraffe height that will permit views of the HS2 full-bore along the entire Colne Valley while sipping drinks and trainspotting. Maybe setup telephoto cameras sync'd to the schedule and North TV and South TV (nearly 180 degree panoramic). At 200 mph it would be fleeting yet an interesting concept pub adjacent to the GUC and Harefield Marina. There may not be many locations one can view HS2 at it's full speed. The local narrowboaters may enjoy it...and the birdwatchers too during the daytime. Wacky concept idea from a Yank 1/5th the globe away.

lol - I just explained two videos ago that there had to be a pair of segments ready for the next pier and now you've captured it on film, Peter. Uncanny ! Keep 'em coming. Oh yeah, I remember cricket on the TV. I was watching live when the commentater said, 'the bowler's Holding, the batman's Willey.' Memorable and still makes me laugh. I'm sure he knew what he was doing.

The segments are brought down the full length of the viaduct from the factory by the M25 on multi wheeled trailers with some sort of tractor uni. On some of Cuemaster videos you can often see half a dozen or more parked along the viaduct.

@@PetertheRock. hi peter , i have no link with hs2, just a fly on the wall or bushes with an interest like most of us with the fantastic lump of engineering thats hs2, unfortunately i left my sd card at home so no footage, i'm trying to catch dominique as it moves onto the next pier for a time lapse , but as you know its hit and miss if you see any movement....thanks for the videos and different perspective.....
