Watching this entire new generation playing matches is exciting but they are definitely missing something. If you re-watch the 2011 play between LCW and LD, you can feel the sense of master art piece there. The shuttle flow was so smooth with both players patiently waiting for the little error opponent makes, as they know if they attack first their defense may crack. Now it's almost always a sort of barbaric fight 😁 fun to watch but not very enjoyable.

In tennis, novak djokovic had won ATP finals for 7 times surpassing federer's. @@wimzswimz9843 No it’s not, Viktor doesn’t have the most major wins, that would be LD, Viktor still has ways to catch up and I don’t think he will get there because Viktor peaked too late in his career, maybe he can get the second Olympic gold, but I don’t see 5 WC for Viktor because he would need three more to match LD and he is already 30 years old. Now I think Viktor is being underrated by many because he had a bad record against Momota, but many forgot and didn’t know Viktor had a chronic ankle issue which he had a surgery in 2020 to fix. After the surgery his winning percentage against all top players had a dramatic rise and dominated the circuit. It’s just unfortunate it coincided with the fall of Momota, so we will never know how a post ankle surgery Axelsen vs a pre accident Momota will look like.

To be quite honest SYQ has very good skill and tactics, his trick of suddent attack and followed by another rush shots is most powerful , good variation of dropshots & netting, his drift ball is something cannot easily for the opponent to make it as a jump smash attack. Only he is lack of stamina & energy that's always the problem for every player against VA
