Ah, the late great Jerry 'Crabmeat' Thompson! Saw him on the back deck of a Route 40 bar way back in the late 1970s. Among other songs he was playing stuff written by the late great John Prine. Had a great time that evening and never forgot it!

As of today, if you Google "Crabmeat T" you get Mr. Thompson. He is more popular than "Crabmeat Topping."

How great is this! I didn't recognize the guy on the right at first. The song seemed familiar to me. Thanks for posting this. Do you have a full recording of that day? I found out later that my girlfriend who was taking this course at U of D was bouncing the professor.
